Terrific Tuesday!

I love my son so much and he's done so many adorable things today!

Today as I was picking him up from his class at Daycare he was supposed to be lining up to go outside.
I walked in and caught him being uncooperative as his teacher asked him to stand up multiple times.
Then I asked him, "Are you being a good boy?" He sheepishly replied, "No." And I said, "Well, at least you're not lying, but you need to be good for your teachers and it's time to go." Boys are fun aren't they? So adventurous and belligerent! Well at least mine is! Keep in mind he has 2 very opinionated, boisterous and loquacious parents who are extremely stubborn and strong-willed! What did I think we were going to get?
A compliant child! Ha! Now he can be compliant at times and he's amazingly advanced for his age, but his usual response is the opposite of the one we as parents want to hear. It just makes me laugh thinking about it!

Aug. 30, 2011 quotes; ‎1. "When me's big me can drive the car and you can have sniffles in the car seat?"- My son.
This made me really put things in perspective. I tried to explain to him," When I'm older I'd be sitting in the front seat and use a walker or a cane. And Christopher, you will have to help me get in the car so I don't get hurt. And you will have children that will sit in the car seat I will be their Grandma, just like you have a Grandma Cheryl. And I'll give them presents. But, you will still get presents from Grandma Cheryl." I think I confused him! That's a lot to explain!

2. "I want to fly like Toy Story!" I had to tell him to not jump off the stairs and try to fly because he would fall and hurt himself. Good thing he listened!

Have a great Tuesday!

Monday Monday!

Today is Monday, I have no school but I have lots of reading and some online course work. My son was in the bathroom and I thought he was washing his hands. Even though I said, "Honey, what are you doing?" With no answer. He brings this huge play bucket of water in my room, where my computer, Iphone and Ipod are and says, "Mommy can you fix this?" I am laughing inside thinking about it! The bucket is less than half full and I didn't even realize there is water in it, it gets on my bed, Comforter and on my carpet in my room! The handle part was what had come off; easily re-attachable but seriously why does my kid have such an attachment to playing with water in my house?

Aug. 29 Quotes; ‎"I ate spongebob,*chomp chomp*, I'm fighting him *pow pow* I beat him, I got my power! I beat him he's dead."  Afterwhich I said we don't hurt or get things dead honey it's not nice.

"The Spider Book says the green seeds smell the best in the whole world!" This one really made me laugh!

My son is turning 3 in a few days and he got a scripture marker and bracelet in Primary at our church yesterday.
He says to me today, "Where's my scripture marking thing?" And then asks, " Where are my scriptures?" He starts trying to mark them with an unsharpened red scripture marker pencil. I have to explain to him we need a pencil sharpener for that. I love my son!

I just thought I'd share. I hope it makes you laugh or at least brightens your day a bit! What are your thoughts?

August 27, 2011 quote;"There's a monster at the end of this book, agggggggh!"

August 25, 2011; "Mommy we're both in charge, you and me and daddy!" He said this to me after I asked him to do something. And I said to him as his mom, "I'm in charge, not you dear, daddy and mommy are in charge!"
So he replied,"No, I'm in charge!". And then followed with the first quote.
My son is very observant and verbal. He is adapt at parroting.
